I sometimes draw concerts. Graphic postnotation is a series of drawings that I created through impulsive real-time reaction to free improvisation and experimental concerts that I was/am attending. Perceiving music allows me to detach myself from thought processes and lets my hand(s) instinctively and autonomously reacting to the characteristics of the sounds - their directions, textures, colours, spatial and dynamic relationships. There is no space for conceptual thinking, so I see these works as something between translation, interpretation and graphic illustration of those specific music performances.
